Using play and playwork with teenage parents and their children.
Full Abstract
This article outlines the importance of play in the healthy development of children. It describes the role of playwork, in which professionals use play as a medium for observing and assessing children and their interactions with others and facilitating development and communication. The uses of play and playwork in working with teenage parents and their children are discussed.
